Is Paxil CR Right For You?

Paxil CR (also known as Paroxetine, Aropax, Paxil or Sereupin) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor for the treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety. This drug congenital disabilities in 1992 by the pharmaceutical company SmithKline Beecham, now GlaxoSmithKline. The company is now located in the UK.

This drug is used to treat major depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder in adult patients only.

Ingredients of Paxil CR

Paxil CR includes the following ingredients: paroxetine hydrochloride, hypromellose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, glyceryl behenate, methacrylic acid copolymer type C, sodium lauryl sulfate, polysorbate 80, talc, triethyl citrate, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycols, and 1 or more of the following colorants: Yellow ferric oxide, red ferric oxide, D&C Red No. 30 Aluminum lake, FD&C Yellow No. 6 aluminum lake, D&C Yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, FD&C Blue No. 2 aluminum lake.
