Is NeuroVite Plus Right For You?
NeuroVite Plus is promoted as a dietary supplement that provides a balance of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and digestive enzymes, thus improving the overall body functions. This product is offered by Amen Clinics, a company founded by Dr. Amen, a certified psychiatrist, and physician.
Also, NeuroVite Plus is said to be able to provide the antioxidant benefits of a full serving of the most nutrient-dense and assorted fruit and vegetables in each daily dose. However, there are no studies to support these claims. The fact is that the supplement features an unusually high number of ingredients, perhaps relying too much on principle: more is better. We do not consider this “all but the kitchen sink” approach necessarily a good one, since unwanted side effects may arise from the interactions of these ingredients combination and evidence rarely supports the exact benefits of such combinations.
Recommended dose is four tablets daily for adults and teens, or as directed by the physician. It is best to be taken with meals in divided doses, such as two tablets with two largest meals of the day.
