Who is the author of Beat Depression and Anxiety by Changing Your Brain?
Debbie Hampton is a successful blogger writing about lifestyle, behavior and thought modifications, mental health practices, and alternative therapies. She collaborated with very popular online magazines like the Huffington Post or MindBodyGreen but her life wasn’t always that good. In 2007 Debbie tried to commit suicide because of some personal problems including a divorce. She was saved but fell into a coma that led to serious brain damage and inability to coordinate, swallow, and even breathe. Her memory was also affected indefinitely and because of this condition she lost custody of her two children. Her life reached a critical point, but Debbie did not give up.
She found the strength to start over and to get in control of her new life again. She chose writing as a way to express her feelings and also talk about the ways to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She now has her own website called thebestbrainpossible.com where she writes about her approach on life and how to maintain control over your emotions, manage stress or depression symptoms, and deal with a compulsive behavior. Debbie is also the author of the “Sex, suicide, and serotonin” memoir. Her life is now all about keeping a healthy balance.
