Is Aventyl Right For You?

Aventyl (also known as Nortriptyline or Pamelor) is marketed as an antidepressant, but it can also be used to treat symptoms of chronic fatigue, migraine headaches, and various forms of chronic pain. The company behind this product is Eli & Lilly, a company which claims to be “a leading, innovation-driven corporation committed to developing a growing ________.”

As we have stated above, this drug is known by several different names. During this review, however, we are going to focus on the one called Aventyl, a drug most often prescribed to treat depression.

We do want to point out that this product, as with all prescription drugs, will require a doctor’s permission to obtain. This may eventually lead to a series of doctor’s visits that, for some individuals, may prove to be time consuming and expensive.

Ingredients of Aventyl

Aventyl includes the following ingredients: Nortriptyline (as the hydrochloride) 10mg, 5-(3-methylaminopropylidene)-10, 11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo [a,d] cycloheptene hydrochloride, and Alcohol 4%.
