Is Adaptamax Right For You?

Adaptamax is advertised as an inexpensive proprietary blend of ginseng and many other familiar ingredients, and it can be used as a mood regulator and in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and more. The company behind this product is Nature’s Sunshine. According to the company’s website, Nature’s Sunshine was the first company to encapsulate herbs, back in 1972. Now, the company can be found in 30 countries, represented by nearly 600,000 distributors.

The manufacturer claims this supplement is an “exclusive combination that combines powerful adaptogens with other nutrient-rich, immune-supporting herbs for a complete, energizing formula.” However, we were unable to find any detailed clinical studies to support these statements. While the company claims their product can help the immune system, provide energy to overcome stress, improve mood, and fight oxidative cellular damage, there is no evidence whatsoever to support these claims.
